Is this the terrorizing you were talking about Mr Kerry? Or the "blatant genocide," as you put it, Cindy?

By the way, have you gotten your son his tombstone yet? Or are you still busy looking at your monument. Don't preach to us about respecting a soldier when you won't even respect your own.

Please,
Cindy, ACQUIRE A TOMBSTONE FOR YOUR SON'S GRAVE.

You've gotten a monument,
why don't you get your son one? Ah yes you're too busy talking about how his efforts, and the efforts of his brothers and sisters in Iraq are efforts of blatant genocide.

Go to the hole you crawled from. You disgraced your son.

But I guess her old friend John Kerry can still relate, since he recently claimed that American soldiers should stop terrorizing Iraqi women and children in the dead of night.

..::Okay::..

Let's establish this from the get-go

here.

WASHINGTON - President Bush accepted responsibility on Wednesday for the decision to go to war with Iraq despite faulty intelligence but said the decision to oust Saddam Hussein was still correct.

"It is true that much(NOT ALL) of the intelligence turned out to be wrong. As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq," the president told The Woodrow Wilson Center on the eve of elections to establish Iraq's first permanent, democratically elected government. "And I'm also responsible for fixing what went wrong by reforming our intelligence capabilities. And we're doing just that."

Now, just as it was with the "30,000" count Bush spoke of two days ago, the mainstream media will distort this newest comment to the best of their ability. Let's watch.

..::Update::..

This is the update on the blog I wrote about liberal bias in college. Should be two posts down from this one.

This is the exchange that started it all:

Q: Since the inception of the Iraqi war, I'd like to know the approximate total of Iraqis who have been killed. And by Iraqis I include civilians, military, police, insurgents, translators.

THE PRESIDENT: How many Iraqi citizens have died in this war? I would say 30,000, more or less, have died as a result of the initial incursion and the ongoing violence against Iraqis. We've lost about 2,140 of our own troops in Iraq.

Every media outlet, including my professor, is concluding Bush said "30,000 civilians dead in war." Much different impression then the exchang shown above.

Come on, now. Let's stop SKEWING everything for political gain.

But after clearing the lecture hall of his political trickery, I was told I had a "valid point." Then why not state it in the first place, professor?

..::I Knew It'd Come Eventually::..

Throughout High School, I was more politically aware than the average teenager. After September 11th hit close to home, I awoke to what was going on around me. I had always grown up in a conservative household, and prior to September 11th I didn't really give a rats ass about politics, as most 14 year olds don't. However that all changed after September 11th. I began to look at everything. I looked at what my parents said, I looked at what the other side said, and eventually I came to my own conclusion: conservatism (ooh!! The bad C word). I considered the liberal perspective heavily, andddddd.......was unimpressed.

Around junior year of H.S., the college debate came into play. I was looking at a myriad of places, and getting together my thoughts on them. Senior year came along and I was getting my mediocre grades together to form my transcript.

I had always heard of the liberal bias in colleges, but I never really appreciated it until I experienced it myself. Fast forward til today:

Wednesday, December 14th, 2005; Stony Brook University, Long Island, NY.

I'm in my last class of the semester; Sexuality in Literature. The class size, to my knowledge, exceeds 300, and it is held in a very large lecture hall.
Throughought the course of the semester, I knew my professor was a liberal. I had heard of his views before, but never in the class. Throughout the semester, this professor had never once expressed, or pushed his political views upon us, and I deeply appreciated and respected that.

However that all changed on this day.

Okay, so I'm in my last lecture with this man, and everything is going quite swimmingly until he decided to begin dissecting every euphamism used by the Bush administration, such as "enemy combatant, shock and awe, precision strike," so on and so forth. He complained about how these Islamo Fascists are treated while in detention, going on to talk about how they are held in "unpleasant positions." Ooh, God (oops did I say that) forbid. I wouldnt suppose the people who were forced to jump of the Trade Towers were in an "unpleasant position," were they?

So, of course, he got to the recent news of Bush stating 30,000 Iraqis have died in Iraq. Notably, he mentioned, and likened the figure to be that of a count of civilian deaths. Angered by this, I raised my hand to rebuke. However, I was told to wait until he was finished with the rest of his points, and that I should "write down" my question. Why? So I can hand it in to you on the last day of lecture?

Immediately after he was finished, I stood up in front of the class and informed the 300 plus people that the figure was being skewed by the media, and why. Ill get into that later..

After my remarks, the professor went on to say I had a "valid point."

Oh why thank you for making that generous admission, professor, it's a shame a boy 30 years your junior had to make up for your lack of maturity.

I've finally experienced the liberal bias I was always told collge would entail.

Bring it.

"We have brought torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, innumerable acts of random murder, misery, degradation and death to the Iraqi people and call it 'bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East,'" Pinter said.

I guess elections, hospitals, releasing of childrens' torture chambers, ballots, security forces, universities, schools, the establishment of an interim gov't, the establishment of continuous and constant electrical supply, running water, and plumbing don't count?

I find it cowardly, how these Leftist, Chomsky fiending fools continuously say the "U.S.," but refuse to actually call our soldiers out on it.

They always say "Bush," and "Blair," but never once say "the soldiers." The soldiers are on the ground committing these supposed acts of "murder, misery, degredation," not Bush or Blair.

I propose a challenge to the left:

COME OUT AND SAY IT,

Come out and say the soldiers are committing genocide.

Stand up, be men and women and say what you really think.

Don't dance around the issue and say you support the soldiers.

Ooookay.

It's something we call "parent involvement," which unfortunately, is something you leftists don't advocate, especially on the subject of fetal extermination, among a myriad of other issues.

I was raised on G.I.Joe's, pride in my country (unheard of, right?), and I had first person shooters.

I'm fine.

I, thankfully, had parents that taught me about right and wrong, and that I shouldn't be having sex til I was older. Strange, right?
I had parents that taught me about respect. God (oops did I just say that) forbid you do that nowadays.
I am thankful my parents did not follow the corrosive "morals" of societal liberalism. My parents were involved, because my "right to privacy" was not the issue.

"It is not happening. We are not succeeding. ... Nothing that has transpired so far has made Iraq more stable," Pelosi, D-Calif. said.

It's a shame the numbers beg to differ.

"Americans have paid an enormous price as a result of the administration's mistakes in Iraq. Democrats firmly believe that the U.S. can and must succeed, but the president's open-ended, ill-defined policy will not get us there," Reed (Jack Reed D-RI) said, adding that it's the president's duty to provide a plan.

Dean doesn't think we can win, period. Who smells a cat fight?

All this, eight days before new elections, just like the ones from last January that Democrats predicted would fail...

..::Still Recovering From His Loss..::.........

SCHIEFFER: All right. Let me shift to another point of view, and it comes from another Democrat, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. He takes a very different view. He says basically we should stay the course because, he says, real progress is being made. He said this is a war between 27 million Iraqis who want freedom and 10,000 terrorists. He says we're in a watershed transformation. What about that?

Sen. KERRY: Let me--I--first of all, there is so much more that unites Democrats than divides us. And Democrats have much more in common with each other than they do with George Bush's policy right now. Now Joe Lieberman, I believe, also voted for the resolution which said the president needs to make more clear what he's doing and set out benchmarks, and that the policy hasn't been working. We all believe him when you say, `Stay the course.' That's the president's policy, which hasn't been changing, which is a policy of failure. I don't agree with that. But I think what we need to do is recognize what we all agree on, which is you've got to begin to set benchmarks for accomplishment. You've got to begin to transfer authority to the Iraqis. And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the--of--the historical customs, religious customs. Whether you like it or not...

I don't get it, Mr. Kerry.

According to your spokesman, you want our "brave" soldiers to be "protected."
However, at the same time, you accuse them of running through the cities of Iraq, terrorizing women and children. Yet, at the same time, you support them and their mission. Yet at the same time, your party chairman believes the war can't be won, and slowly, your party as a whole is beginning to think that Iraq was better off under Saddam. Upon repetition, you and yours still fail to understand that we do have a plan for Iraq. According to people in YOUR party, our soldiers are "broken," and "worn," despite the fact enlistment rates are UP. Your party associates itself with the likes of Cindy Sheehan, who labeled a war a "blatant genocide," but at the same time speaks of the memory of her fallen son who fought and died in Iraq. Your party is the party that said the Iraqi's would never have elections. THEY DID. This man, or hero, who helped deliver ballots to election stations, had more faith in Iraqi elections than your party did. He DIED for his mission. Mr. Kerry, it was YOUR party that cast aspersions and doubt every step of the way. YOUR party said elections wouldn't happen, and that security forces and police forces would never be established, even though men are being KILLED while waiting to SIGN UP. YOUR party said the Iraqis would never establish and interim government. THEY DID.

This MAN believed in his mission. HE DIED FOR IT.

..::Another Reason to Download Movies::..

Just some amusing excerpts I found on FrontPageMag while researching Hollywood's ridiculous train of thought:

* George Clooney: "America’s policies frustrate me. You can’t beat your enemies anymore through wars; instead you create an entire generation of people seeking revenge." Like the Japanese, who’ve avenged themselves on America for World War II by selling us cars and electronic gadgets.
* Edward Norton: "It must be good to be in Germany and France, because I have completely forgotten what it’s like to be proud of your government." Yes the French and Germans must be beaming about everything their governments did to: A) Keep a monster in power in Iraq; B) Support suicide-bombers in the Palestinian Authority; and C) Arm the enlightened, progressive regimes in Damascus and Tehran.
* Spike Lee: "America doesn’t have the moral right to tell the rest of the world what to do." Like telling the Sudanese government not to enslave black children, or telling the Rwandans not to engage in genocide, or telling the white South African government to open the doors of Nelson Mandela’s prison cell, Spike?
* Harrison Ford: "I’m very disturbed about the direction American foreign policy is going in. I think something needs to be done to help alleviate the conditions which have created a disenfranchised and angry faction in the Middle East." Osama bin Laden as one of the wretched of the Earth? If only the 9/11 hijackers had comfortable, middle-class upbringings, college educations, and employment opportunities. Wait, come to think of it, they did!
* Johnny Depp: "America is dumb, is something like a dumb puppy that has big teeth – that can bite you, aggressive." Atta boy, Johnny, lay the philosophical analysis on thick. Terrorists too are convinced that America is a "dumb puppy" (or rabid dog) that must be put down to protect innocent bystanders. Captain Jack Sparrow-brain agrees.
* Dustin Hoffman: "For me, as an American, the most painful aspect of this is that I believe that the administration has taken the events of Sept. 11 and has manipulated the grief of the country, and I think that is reprehensible." Manipulated the nation’s grief how, Dustin? By getting us better airport security? By persuading us to root out the Taliban in Afghanistan, which gave al-Qaeda a safe haven? By toppling terrorist sugar-daddy Saddam? Maybe we should have just given them bad reviews.

..::Funny::..

From MoveOn.Org:

Shelly Moore Capito Chooses Not To Challenge Sen. Byrd (D-WV) in '06 (October 2005):
Despite heavy recruitment efforts from the Republican party, Congresswoman Shelly Moore Capito announced that she will not challenge incumbent Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) in '06. MoveOn.org Political Action members showed strong support for Senator Byrd in March, when they donated over $830,000 to support Bryd's '06 run. MoveOn members’ early engagement helped shape the playing field in West Virginia, and almost certainly helped convince Congresswoman Capito to stay out of the race.

Funny, how Senator Byrd (Democrat-WV) is an ex - KKK member. Lord forbid you mention that to them. Wonder what they'd say about a Republican like that?

..::From The Words of Soldiers::..

Sgt. Brian Wood -- killed on April 16th.

"So it may be a long road ahead, but for the large majority of the Iraqi people, they want us here, and they want us to help them rebuild. That always makes me feel good about being here, actually making a difference in these people's lives and giving them opportunities they've never had. It always amazes me how people don't think we should be here. I don't think they really understand what life is like here and how these people were treated. But I suppose most people will never understand that. Well, it's great to hear you're enjoying your new house. I might have to take a trip up there once my time is up. I'll send ya e-mails when I can."

Lt. Col. William Wood -- killed in late 2005.

Wood's father, Jimmy, an Air Force veteran, described his son as a "people person" who loved the Army. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.

His father told the Associated Press that his son's last e-mail came just four days before he died. Jimmy Wood said the e-mail "talked about delivering ballots to the polling places, and that the Iraqi people were really glad to have an opportunity to vote in a free election."

Sgt. Walter J. Rausch

"My fellow countrymen and women, we are not overseas for our country alone but also another. We are here to spread democracy and freedom to those who KNOW the true taste of it because they fight for it everyday. You can see the desire in their eyes and I am honored to fight alongside them as an Infantryman in the 101st Airborne."

Cpl. Jeffrey Starr. -- killed on April 30th, 2005.

"Obviously if you are reading this then I have died in Iraq. I kind of predicted this, that is why I'm writing this in November. A third time just seemed like I'm pushing my chances. I don't regret going, everybody dies but few get to do it for something as important as freedom. It may seem confusing why we are in Iraq, it's not to me. I'm here helping these people, so that they can live the way we live. Not have to worry about tyrants or vicious dictators. To do what they want with their lives. To me that is why I died. Others have died for my freedom, now this is my mark."
(The New York Times left this out, during their coverage of Jeffrey Starr.)

Nothing else needs to be said.
